Some of the common questions that may come to your mind when you read our Adventure Trips. 

  1. Do I need to know how to swim?
    1. We always play by the rule  “safety first”, so we provide you with lifevest and carry a rescue tube, in this way you will have buoyancy and will feel comfortable and safe in the water.
    2. If it’s for the Lear to Dive Adventure you will need to know, at least, how to float.
  2. Do I need to rent or bring the gear for any trip?
    1. No, in every trip Pure Adventure will provide you with all the necessary equipment, so as our guest, you will have fewer things to carry.
  3. What should I wear for the trips?
    1. For any trip, you’ll come prepared to get a bit wet or completely wet, maybe with your bathing suit or clothes that can get wet. Although, we recommend you to bring water shoes, extra cloth for after the trip, and sun protection such as sunglasses, hat, etc.
  4. Do I need to know how to kayak?
    1. No.  Most of our clients are first time kayakers, so we provide you with a briefing about how to kayak prior the excursion.
  5. Do I need to be a certified diver for the diving trips?
    1. Yes and No.  Yes for the Diving Adventure, and No for the Learn to Dive Adventure, where we’ll teach you to dive.
  6. Is there a good place near to eat after the excursion?
    1. Of course! After the trip, ask to your guide for a local restaurant on the area.
  7. Will you give us any water or snacks, or we have to bring them?
    1. We’ll give it to you.  We believe for water sports is strongly important to be hydrated all the time.  As a matter of fact we’ll provide you with plenty of water, local fruits, and for full days adventures we provide you with lunch.
  8. Is it safe for kids?
    1. Yes, but the minimum age for any of our trips is 6 years old.  Our personnel is completely trained on safety and rescue management.  In this way kids and parents will feel comfortable all the time.  It is very important to notify us how many kids will be on the trip and their age.
  9. Should I bring a camera?
    1. Yes if it is a waterproof camera.  If not, we recommend you to not bring it.  We take a lot of pictures in most of our trips and send you one photo via e-mail as a gift and reminder of your memorable day.
  10. Are there any heatlh restrictions for participation in kayak trips?
    1. This excursion is not recommended for people with: Recent surgeries, heart conditions, strong asthma, pregnant women, person taking high blood medication, children under six years, people under alcohol influences, afraid to the dark, or with panic attacks. Also the participants should be able to stay on a seating position for at least two hours. The combined weight for a two-person kayak cannot exceed 460 pounds. 
  11. The Bio Bay can be seen in a Night with full moon?
    1. Yes and you can see where your going most of the time.
  12. The Bio Bay Laguna Grande can be seen any Night of the year?
    1. Yes, the Bio Bay  Laguna Grande in Fajardo is one of the few places around the world that the glowing effect can be appreciated any giving night!
  13. How easy is to kayak on the Bio Bay?
    1. Easy enough in most of the time, how hard it could get? This depend on how high or low is the tide on that night.
  14. Is it alright to tip the tour guide?
    1. YES, Marine Biologist love TIPS!
